NaBloPoMo 2020 - OpenSees Edition

November is National Blog Posting Month, or NaBloPoMo. The goal is to write a blog post a day for the full month of November, and in doing so, engage readers and get the creative juices flowing. November is also NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), but we’re talking about blog posts, not journal articles.

Each day in November, I will post a blog entry about OpenSees. I have ideas for about 2/3 of the month lined up. The other 1/3 should come to me as the month proceeds; however, if I start posting kitten pictures after November 20, you’ll know the other 1/3 didn’t materialize.

Most of the posts I’ve planned are brief topics on OpenSees, particularly how to do useful things with Python. Other posts will be more involved. I expect some posts to be stinkers, while others will be nuggets of pure gold for someone out there.
