SectionForceDeformation

Description

The SectionForceDeformation class is an abstraction of multi-dimensional stress resultant constitutive response. Implementations of the SectionForceDeformation class, referred to as “sections”, can be used in beam-column and shell elements, as well as in zero-length and link elements. In beam-column and shell elements, a section represents axial force-deformation, shear force-deformation, and moment-curvature response. A section in a zero-length element can represent base isolator response and in a link element, these objects can represent shear wall response.
